People fail, and people succeed.
Which one would you rather achieve? You would choose success, without question, right? We would choose the same. But as life could be complex sometimes, it is not always that easy.
Failure is not always a bad thing. We learn from it, and we become better at what we do. But when failure is something we get used to and not something that inspires us, it is another story.
You may want to address the following reasons behind failure to be able to start anew and be better than you ever were:
Lack of self-esteem
When you trust yourself, you can do anything. You are brave, able and confident. When you don’t, the opposite happens. Low self-esteem is often the reason for one’s failure and downfall. It is not because of lack of skills or intelligence, but because of fear of not doing the right thing and making a mess out of it, you don’t ever try. Trust yourself and know you can do whatever you set your mind to and you will.
You don’t care about what you need to do, what time you wake up, how you perform. You get up when you feel like it. In short, you are a mess. Get over this phase. Stick to your schedule and set goals then achieve them. Respect your time and most of all, respect yourself.
Not learning from your mistakes
Mistakes happen, and we all make it. The difference is, some people learn, others don’t. If you belong to the latter group, stop and reassess your situation. Where do you want to be tomorrow? What have you done wrong? How can you make things right? How do you start over? Most importantly, ask yourself, what have you learned to avoid committing the same mistake?
Excuses are lame, and you should stop making it. It doesn’t help your cause or your goals in life. It doesn’t make anything better. Tell yourself you have had enough excuses and you are now ready to face the world, so face it, head on. There is no excuse in the universe that should make you turn back or wait on your dreams. You make things happen, period.
If you have been dealing with any or all of the above mentioned, it is time to rethink what you want to do from here and where you want to be.
