FACT: Success is never easy.

It requires a lot of sacrifices, hard work, and dedication. You know what, though? It will always be worth it in the end.

The road ahead is going to be challenging and the days may be long, while time could be short. What matters is the willingness to work hard and keep trying when the going gets tougher than expected.

For those who are wondering why they haven’t succeeded yet, these are the possible reasons:

You worry about what people think

This is a waste of time and energy. If you want to succeed, go at it full force and follow your heart. No amount of worrying about what others think can make them change their minds if they don’t want to and no amount of time spent on it would ever be worth it. Let them think. Continue working hard and do not be dragged down with negativity. Success makes enough noise to validate your action to yourself, not to others.

You are with the wrong company

The people you spend your time with are not dreamers and doers. They do not bring out the best in you, and they do not challenge you to test your limits. Choose your friends well because who they are is an indication of who you will become. Learn from them, dream big with them, kick butt and work hard with them.

You don’t take responsibility for your actions

The easiest thing to do when you make a mistake is to blame others. The best thing to do, however, is take responsibility for your actions. Blaming others will not do any good nor will it make any situation better. Own your mistakes and try again.

Complacency and lack of self-confidence

There is a false sense of security in settling. It’s a trap. Don’t fall into it. Take risks and dare. Don’t be afraid to rattle your comfort zone even when it feels like you should be contented where you are. Believe in what you can do and always aim for what you know you can be. This is the way to succeed, to shatter limits and to break the habits of mediocrity.

Are you guilty of any of these things? If you are, it is time to learn new habits and aim to be successful. Trust yourself that YOU CAN, and you will achieve greater heights.
