There are free thinkers…
And then there are the naysayers. What do we do? We respect the free thinkers and ignore the naysayers, especially, most especially, when what they say is directed towards us.
We do our best to ignore them most of the time, but there are instances when we can’t because we get affected, and we have had too much. However, control our emotions we must because we are people who take the high road.
Here are some effective ways to ignore the naysayers, because really, we have better things to do:
Whatever you do and say, people will have their opinion, whether you ask for it or not. They will not go away. You might as well do what you want and what makes you excited and get up in the morning, right?
Happiness is the best revenge, they say, so be happy. You can do this by being yourself and doing what you want. Live the kind of life you have imagined, do the things you want and be the person you want to be.
Instead of listening to what other people say or pay attention to what they think about you, keep dreaming and spend your time achieving them. Focus on the positive and the things that you can do to improve your life. Do this, and you will have no time to waste on naysayers.
Seize the day
Make the best out of every day. Don’t waste time on trivial things. Don’t pay attention to negativity and the pessimism. Do everything you can to enjoy each moment and make it worthwhile every single time. Fill your life with positive action, and you will not have time or space for anything else.
Remember, we are always in control of our action and the things we pay attention to. A choice is always available to us.
