5 Reasons To Push Harder & Never Settle

“Live boldly. Push yourself. Don’t settle.” – Jojo Moyes

Don’t settle.

This is what we are reminded of often, because while we have thousands of reasons not to settle, we have no reason why we should if we know there is still a long way to go and we haven’t given it our all yet.

If you are on the brink of giving up, here are the reasons why you need to push harder and never ever settle:

You hold so much promise
The things you have gone through are not something one can say simple or little. They are the very things that shaped and molded who you are today. It means a lot. It means a great deal. You can do a lot of things because you hold so much promise for yourself, for others and for your dreams.

The potential is endless
Yes, it is. You have the potential to break barriers, to reach the stars, to be whoever you want to be and achieve whatever you want to achieve. Go for it. Explore. Discover. Achieve.

You deserve better
You would know mediocrity and you would know that you deserve better and that you need to get out of it. When you decide  that you deserve far better than what you have and what you have been getting, you will take action and do what you must to land in a place you deserve. Remember, if you settle, make sure you are happy, contented and have achieved what you have always wanted.

You can go higher
Are you still looking up? It means  there is still a long way to go. Continue your climb even when you have to pause  after every step you take. Keep going. You may not know it as yet but you will know when you have finally arrived at your destination, the place where you are meant to be.

The best is yet to come
Whatever your situation is right now, know that the best is yet to come. This is a reminder to you not to settle. Life has a surprising way of turning things upside down first before it gets better. Wait it out and in the meantime, continue working hard and be patient.

When you know you still have a long way to go, keep pushing and don’t settle until you have achieved what you know you deserve.
