Are you a softie?
Fret not, there is nothing wrong with being such. It just means you manage to remain sensitive in a world that is entirely otherwise. When you are a gentle creature, others see it as a weakness. It is not. Hang on to it. In fact, it could be your strongest asset, a definition of your character.
But hey, there are instances when you need to toughen up because you cannot allow other people to trample over you and take advantage of your sensitivity and kindness in any way.
It does not mean you have to be a different person altogether. It just means you are looking out for yourself and asserting your rights if need be. Learn to say no. Say you disagree if you really do. Never allow other people to change who you are to fit their crowd. You are a person of your own, and only you have control over that, nobody else. Take charge and be known to be a gentle person who cannot be messed around with. Now, that is something, isn’t it?
Read the quick tips below on how to toughen up and let us know your thoughts. Would you rather be a softie or a toughie?
