Be the best you can be.

That is the best advice we could ever receive. We feel that if we don’t, it will be a waste of chance and opportunities to show your true color, to be proud of who you are.

But how do you know you are already on your best kick butt self? Will there be signs? Drum roll? Confetti? We hope it is that simple. But you know what? It is not as complicated as we think it is.

The truth is, we have always been our best self, we just didn’t know it nor paid attention to it. To remind you, here are the ways you can (re)discover your kick butt self:

Be you
You can’t put a price on being you, being real and being true to your nature. Don’t be afraid to be yourself and do not hide into something you know you are not. The beginning of a journey should always begin with honesty, and that is being YOU for YOU.

Ignore the naysayers
Don’t pay attention to people who don’t believe in you and always ignore negativity because it will not add value to your life. What you can do is focus on the positive and cling on to hope. People will always have something to say, but it does not mean you have to pay attention. The power to ignore these things is a form of kicking butt, too.

Do what you makes you happy
Do this, over and over again, without fail. What makes you happy is important because it makes you inspired and motivated to go the extra mile. Happiness is important, and this is the root of all the good things you can do in your life and others.

Believe in yourself
Always make this happen. You should be your number one fan and supporter. When you believe in what you can do, kicking butt will never be a problem because you will go at everything with confidence and motivation to keep going until you have achieved what you want to happen.

Have faith
Don’t forget to have faith in the higher power and yourself. Things will always work out in the end. For now, kick butt, be yourself and own what you do all the time. The power is not always in what we do; it is also in how we do it.

You can kick butt anytime you want to, never doubt this fact.
