Goal setting is good.
Working hard to achieve them is even better. But perhaps you need to take a short break and ask yourself if whatever it is you are working so hard on is actually what you want. Do not waste time and effort on something you are not even sure about—you can use the same time and effort in working for something that sets your soul fire.
Forget what society dictates and go for what you want. This way—once you have achieved your goals, you won’t wonder why you have wasted years of your life for goals that are not even important to you.
Therefore, if you want to be satisfied and achieve them, your REAL goals, ditch the ones that are not necessary and prioritize.
