Trials are part of many stages of life.
Sometimes it is easy to face them, sometimes, trials would drag us on the ground until we feel we could not take any more. During this period, we may feel that life has been so hard and we could not do anything right. Worse, we feel worthless.
When this happens, we have to get our act together no matter how trying it is. To embrace your worth during these trying moments, you may want to do the following:
Take care of yourself.
The trying times are the moment we forget ourselves the most. Collect your thoughts and look after yourself. See what your needs are and attend to them. Do your best to sleep as much as you can, exercise as regularly as possible and do not blame yourself. Things happen, and most of them are beyond your control. Focus on what you have control over, which is your emotion and how you react to things happening around you.
Remember who you are.
Remind yourself who you are and what you have gone through. As you look back, you would realize how much you have accomplished and how far you have come. Although this moment is difficult and trying your resolve, there is so much more you can do and do them you shall.
You have no reason to prove your worth to anyone.
You are already worthy, and you don’t need anyone to agree with you or affirm this fact. Do what you are meant to do, cling to hope and be resilient no matter how difficult the struggles may seem. When you fail, try again, when you fall, get back up with more dedication. It does not matter if people see your worth or not, as long as you do, it is more than enough.
Embrace your worth, and you will always be ahead in life, regardless of any trial you may face.
