Either way, we make these forces happy. On one side are people who would be glad to see us fail and the other are those who would be happy to see us succeed. Yes, whether we admit it or not, it is the truth.

Regardless, we should still focus on the positive aspect of life and take comfort in knowing that there are people who genuinely care. Ignore the critics and do your own thing. Here’s how you can kick butts each day while having the time of your life.

1. Do not let anything dampen your spirit.
Wake up each day as if yesterday’s failure did not happen. It was not a failure, really, it was just one attempt that did not work. People will be amazed at how strong you are and will wonder how you remain unfazed. Of course it is easier said than done but you don’t settle for easy, do you? How fun would it be to see naysayers wonder how you manage to take everything in a stride?

2. Show a brave smile.
Smile when you succeed and smile when things are get difficult. When you smile, your feelings get lighter, and the load you carry seems to lift off your shoulder. Besides, it shows the world that you can take anything with a smile and nothing can wipe it off of your face. Isn’t it wonderful and fun to always show a brave face?

3. Do the opposite of what others expect from you.
We don’t mean that you rebel. We only mean to say that if others doubt that you would go places, prove them wrong. If people expect you to be mediocre, succeed and be great. When people underestimate your capabilities, surprise them. Now, that is what you call kicking butts.

However, at the end of the day, remember that you are doing these for you and not for anyone else. You are just having fun in the process and not stepping on anyone’s toes or taking advantage of others.
