Motivation is an integral part of life.
Without motivation, we cannot do anything to the best of our knowledge and abilities. We may be able to do some things, but it may be half done. Either that or we have exerted too much effort for something so simple just because we lack the motivation to go on.
We get it, we are not totally motivated every single day but what do you say if there are rules to make sure you would be jumping out of bed in the morning with energy and motivation moving forward? Would you be willing to give it a try?
Over the years, we have faced a lot of difficulties, but on the upside, we have also discovered how to motivate ourselves, without fail.
Motivation rule #1: Keep it simple.
My husband says I make cooking complicated when it is supposed to be so simple. I wasn’t aware I was doing this until he pointed it out when I told him I was getting tired of cooking. I took his advice to heart and mind you; I now love cooking even more. The simpler we handle things in life, the better.
Motivation rule #2: Keep dreaming big dreams.
Life is far from being perfect, and that is okay. We may already have what we need in life; no matter how simple they are, which is a good thing, by the way. However, it does not mean we should stop dreaming. Continue dreaming and aim for an even better life. It is not greed, or anything, in fact, it is the opposite. There is nothing wrong with dreaming or continue doing so if that is what would give your life more colors. So long as you have not forgotten to live, by all means, dream away.
Motivation rule #3: Instead of running away from it, embrace change.
If there is one thing in life most people hate, it is change. We fail to grasp that change is always for the better. It may take us by surprise sometimes, but it also tells us that it is time to have another beginning or to improve and to aim for something else, no matter the discomfort. When we do not fear change, we can see things more logically, and we can act accordingly to our advantage.
Motivation rule #4: Do it right the first time.
That is the goal, at least, to do our best in everything we have to accomplish and aim to do it right. When done right, it improves the mood and amps the motivation.
Motivation rule #5: Treat work as work and treat home as home.
In short, draw a fine line between the two. Do work when you are at the office or place of business and be home when you are at home. The reason we get drained easily is that we forget where each ends. When we get them mixed up, we get stressed out, not to mention demotivated.
Now you are ready to kick butt and be motivated every day!
