It’s a scary situation to be at.

Why do we say this, you may ask? It is because we have gone through it and if we are to be transparent, it is not pretty.

Burn out happens when you have over exerted yourself in something or everything you do. Generally, you are excited to begin and give it everything you have got, as you should, but the problem starts when you forget to take a break and take care of your needs.

We know you work hard and that you are willing to work harder to accomplish your tasks and get the job done however challenging it may be. It is excellent but when you keep going and never take a break, burn out will be the next thing you will have to deal with.

Here are the tricks to stop the burn out, something you may or may not know about:

Be patient
Do what you can and do your best and leave it at that. You cannot control the outcome, only what you do before it happens. Don’t rush things. Keep going, even when you have to take a break once in a while. The results will come as you deserve it. Let it unfold at the right moment and not before. Otherwise, you will feel tired, stressed and burned out if you keep spending your time and energy on something already beyond your control.

Take care of yourself
Don’t forget to look after your needs. This is not something you can take for granted because the more you take care of yourself, the more energy you have to deal with anything that is thrown at you. Make yourself a priority for once, and you will not feel burned out as you work hard for everything you deserve.

Have a plan
Be organized. Have a plan and follow it. You don’t have to worry about making it perfect, only that you have a guide to follow and improvise on should the need arises. This means that you can change the way you approach things without changing your dreams and goals.

Work and play
Work hard, as hard as you can and then harder. However, do not forget to add play to your schedule. All work and no play invites misery and burn out. Reward yourself, take a break and enjoy the fruit of your labor.

Burn out should be defeated before it even happens. Do it and you will become even more formidable in everything you do.
