Take the first step.

It is the most crucial one and also the most liberating. It dictates where you would be going. Would you succeed or fail? The answer will reveal itself as you go on.

You may want to assess why you have started. What motivates you? Have you risked going out of your comfort zone because you are following your passion or because you were driven by what other people expect of you?

If you have listened to your burning desire, then you are heading towards success, and you will achieve great things. However, if you have dared because it is what is expected of you, and your motivation is to please others, you are doomed to fail, sooner or later. Most likely sooner and that are unfortunate.

You see, you have started at the same place, with one goal, which is to succeed. What significantly differs is your motivation to keep going. If you are happy with what you are doing, if you enjoy the journey, it does not matter how hard it gets and how impossible things may seem. You will endure.

On the other hand, if you have been moved by the influence of how other people see you and expect you to act, you will not last long, and you will fail. That is a certainty. Why? It is because you are not willing to give it 100% of your effort. It is not what you want to do in the first place. Hence, failure becomes inevitable.

You are taking the same road, but you are not travelling it with the same level of persistence. Now, if only you would follow your heart, there is only one outcome, and it is success.

Are you willing to risk anything short than achieving it? I didn’t think so.

Tell us, where would your road take you?
