“How does one become a butterfly? You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar.” – Trina Paulus

To live is to transform.

Whatever we do, whatever action we take, we are transformed into becoming more of who we are. It is not always a beautiful process, but it can be. Just like anything else, it depends on how we look at it.

Some moments can be staggering and overwhelming; others can be amazingly great. Other times, something would happen, and you would be toppled, your world will turn upside down. These are all unexpected, and in the same manner, you may react unexpectedly.

However, when we accept change and adapt instead of fighting it for what it is and what you are becoming, change is welcome. It is the beginning of transformation. It can become a beautiful process. You may come out scarred, tested by time, seasoned by life itself. Despite all that, you remain positive with everything you do and encounter.

In short, when you appreciate the beauty of your transformation, even when it is not necessarily easy to deal with, you become stronger, better and you grow faster. The world we live in could be wild, chaotic (and dramatic even), but you are who you are because of it and what you deal with.

You are beautiful because of everything you have gone through and will go through. Appreciate what you have, no matter how little and appreciate each challenge, even when you would instead give up at some point. These things will mold you and transform you into one of the most beautiful butterflies there are. The process will be painful at first, and may even take a long time but when you get there, you will stand out, and you will be where you want to be. Most of all, you will be YOU even when you have to give up something you want to cling to at first.
