Difficulties are inevitable.
Things happen, and in most cases, when they do, they are beyond your control. You’d struggle at some point, rise above it in another. It is like a wheel – you are in a cycle, but it is still up to you how you want to end up with and if you wish to stay up or down.
When you feel that you seem to be struggling most days, do not ever blame yourself for what’s happening, do not ever think that it would become your identity. It won’t be if you don’t let it. Fight to the end and always remember the reason why you have gone through the things you have gone through. Keep in mind that you can do anything you set your mind to and that you are a survivor, an achiever, always ready to kick butt.
Perhaps you’d feel that life has been cruel on you as if you are being punished for something you have not done (we felt this way before, and it’s never pleasant), but you can change the way you look at things, the way you deal with the challenges and difficulties. We did, and we are way, way better for it.
First, acknowledge the cause of the struggle, recognize the problem and find ways to resolve it, to have the best course of action. Think of the solution, not the problem. When you think of the latter, it just gets worse, and your logic would most likely escape you when it happens.
You are not what you go through at any point in your life; you are how you react and deal with it. Remember that you are capable, and you can get through anything, but you have to be able to trust yourself first. The rest will follow.
