Health means productivity.
It also means happiness, success, long life and other heaps of great things life has to offer. Unfortunately, because of our busy schedule, we often forget to take care of our health. To simplify, we eat what is available; we do what’s needed to be done and go on with our lives.
With so much to do, it is understandable that we forget what our body needs, so long as we are functioning, albeit not to the full extent. The sad thing is, we hardly notice it with so much going on. We only realize we need to do something when we don’t feel well, get sick or no longer being productive.
When I don’t feel myself, the body screams in silence. I don’t feel like doing anything, or I will procrastinate and set things aside, no matter how urgent they are. Then I would feel frustrated for feeling what I’m feeling because I would feel out of control and I could not do anything about it.
To make sure this doesn’t happen to you and that you become productive every single day moving forward, the solution is simple, eat a well-balanced diet. We know it doesn’t seem a lot but coupled with regular exercise, you would be in tiptop shape in no time.
Eat more fruits and vegetables. Drink more water and as much as you can, avoid soda and other sugary beverages. We don’t need the later to function well or be productive, if anything, it gives us a false impression that we are at our best element. The truth is, it is the opposite because sooner or later, your body and mind will look for something real (as in real food and drinks with real nutrients). It also adds up to better digestion. And who doesn’t feel great with better digestion, right?
The goal is to fill our body with enough nutrients we need to function properly in all aspect of our lives. We can only do this when we commit to a better lifestyle. This will lead to better productivity, happiness, and satisfaction.
